*sigh ok I hate dating period. That said, first, some point of view from a female perspective: I get hit on all the time in RL and SL. Not bragging but i know alot of us do. I don't know about everyone else but speaking for myself, I just do not have the time nor energy to date every single male noob who walks up and asks me out. So to risk hurting the poor things feelings (and all of you other more advanced SL'ers) I try to be nice and say hello back. Usualy this is interpreted as I am interested in this guy. NEWS FLASH: I'M NOT! Like the movie coming out....I'm Just Not That Into You!

I am looking for a man a partner to raise a family with. Speaking for most women, that is prolly what they want too. Guys' lets tell the truth ok? you just want to get laid right? I am a retired escort ok? Don't lie to me I made a ton of lindens honey so don't even TRY....


So, ladies do we just waste alot of time dating or guys do we go bankrupt hiring escorts? Well, you can if you want to but I don't recommend it. So instead, Why don't we instead limit the amount of dating that we do? We choose the right guys with the right ladies and apply these filters throughout our lives. Yes, you even can use them in RL too! Personally, my filters pick the worst possible guys for me. If anyone has a set of working filters, can you Trans them to me?

OK, that was the long version of the girl's perspective. Bottom line is: we need to reject a lot of guys who hit on us. Sorry, dont take it personally. Sometimes, we just dont want to be bothered. We may be in a hurry or have PMS. Maybe we dont like the color of your shirt. You just never know.

But we should have some rules of engagement for Second Life encounters:

Guys:
1. R-E-S-P-E-C-T! LEARN what that word means dammit! We spend a LOT of time, money, and most of all EFFORT to be pretty for you. We are not asking anything of you than you be a gentleman! (try being a female av for awhile just try, maybe you MIGHT get it??? idk)

2. READ! If our profiles say we are not looking for a relationship, guess what? We ain't playin honey! Just cos you are gorgeous ya not gonna sweet talk your way into our pants.

3. TALK! Um ah yeah sure no yeah is NOT CONVERSATION! Dont just say hello and ask her for sex! If that is all you want, hire an escort and dammit you best respect the escort too or you might be outta your lindens lol

4. Rejection is a bitch! So tuck your tail and walk away. I'm just not into you so move it along

5. DO NOT send TP invites or Friend every girl you see! *or guy for that matter lol cos its annoying as hell* God gave you 2 hands use them to either 1) cut and paste the person's name into a notepad and save it for later or 2) go old school and heaven forbid you write it down....omg!

6. Do NOT just say HELLO! and expect us to know who the hell you are talking to whether the place is busy or not. #1 we may be busy with IM or cleaning out our Inventory #2 you are NOT the only person in SL and there are other people talking too #3 we have no idea who you are talking to #4 you want to chat, either put our names at the start of the message, or use IM. But dont get annoyed if we dont respond. We really may not have noticed you so chill out.

LADIES:
1. DO NOT BE A BITCH! RESPECT! It took courage for the guy to come up and talk to you. Believe it or not they really are human beings behind that av and they do have feelings even tho they won't admit it. Dammit be NICE!

2. DONT BE A BITCH! TALK! At least acknowledge the guy's presence. Say hello back it won't kill you. After that if you cant or REALLY don't like the dude just tell them "I have to go pee" and trot along. See top of screen? Yeah way up there? Select World and Teleport Home...New invention....works great especially against annoying noobs.

3. DONT BE A BITCH! BE NICE DAMMIT! Rejection hurts. Don't give em a good ole cussin just cos they asked you out! Sheesh who are YOU? The Queen of Ferkin Sheba???? *bows in your ferkin presence* oh hell no! don't think so! Give the dude a break puhleeez! he just asked you a question. Be flattered not act like a total tard. Give the dude some dignity when he has to tuck his tail and go home. After all, even tho you may not work out on a date, you don't know what may happen later on. And you just might be glad you and that dude are friends! Poor dude....*hugs him*
